Katie began her career at YTV in the art department and then spent a decade in London, producing and editing films for big brands including British Airways, Range Rover and Sky.
Eventually, Yorkshire pulled her back.
In 2010 she set up her own company, now This Film Production Ltd. The work is simple to describe and hard to do well: films with integrity, creativity and a truthful feel, made for social enterprises, charities, public sector teams and global organisations.
Katie is producer, director and editor.
Gary Lawson is an award-winning photographer and videographer, and a brilliant collaborator. He’s a people person with a razor-sharp eye, and he and Katie have been making films together since 2009.
